As noted by The Hive, the NFl has a lengthy list of naughty words that it won't allow on the backs of custom made football jerseys.

Despite the fact that a guy on the Patriots has the last name Gay, the NFL was poised not to allow that word on the back of a jersey.

What I can't figure out is why they have the likes of Carruth and Dahmer on the ban list, but not Bundy, Manson, McVeigh or even Bin Laden. And if we're nixing Carruth, what about the immortal Orenthal James Simpson?
